Easter at Albert Heijn Netherlands
For the Albert Heijn Netherlands Easter campaign, I was tasked with converting the design into a fully functional email. Although the new European accessibility legislation was not yet officially in force, I built the email as much as possible according to the WCAG guidelines, ensuring it was accessible to everyone.
The biggest challenge was in Outlook. It showed stubborn white streaks, but by cleverly playing with dimensions and block structures, I completely solved that problem. The result worked flawlessly in all major email clients. The client was extremely satisfied and reported that it was a beautiful email that displayed perfectly everywhere.
